On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I extend my best wishes to the people of Bolivia as you celebrate the 188th anniversary of your independence this August 6.
The United States and Bolivia share a common interest in building tolerant, inclusive societies that reflect the diversity of our peoples.
I wish Bolivians everywhere a future of peace, prosperity, and happiness.
